These are the last vestiges of my little accident at work.
I was busy teaching a PE lesson and had cause to ask a little boy to come to the front and sit down. Unfortunately for me, he chose to sit down rather more exuberantly than I had expected and preceded his sit with a leap into the air, at which point his head made rather sharp contact with my nose.
It is quite amazing the amount of blood that can flow from something as small as a nose and for so long. Still, an hour later the bleeding had more or less stopped and my nose was developing an interesting swelling.
Two hours later black eyes were beginning to appear.
I look forward to seeing what I look like in the morning.
I am keeping a photo record, folks - fear not.
Talk about wetting your whistle...

I think if you publish photos of your wife's swollen nose you deserve a punishment. Shame on you for even thinking it!! And, in the context used I think you have missed the 'h' out of wet.
