Twenty pupils from Bratislava with their three teachers had a nice trip to Huddersfield in this June.
We travelled by bus. In Calais we stayed for one night in Formula 1. On the other we went on through the English Tunnel to Britain. First stopping in England was in Canterbury, a very nice old town.
Then we arrived to York where we stayed for five nights in the host families.
In the mornings we gathered in our bus near the park and went to Huddersfield to met our friends in Almondbury Infant and Nursery School and in Almondbury Junior school (older pupils). We had a great time with them. We learned and played together, visited Coal Mining Museum.
We enjoyed an interesting day in York - bus sightseeing tour, visiting Railway Station Museum, Jorvik - museum if Vikings.
We booked tour in museum and stadion of Manchester United. Never-to-be-forgotten.
On the way home we stopped in London for nine hours. We were in The National Natural Museum and saw wonderful places such as Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, London Eye and we had a nice view on the cruise on the River Thames.
Thank you very much dear Jane, pupils and teachers for the possibility to stay in your country and meet so many nice new friends. M+A+E

You certainly packed a lot into your visit. It sounds brilliant.
